This legendary establishment in Rockville, MD (yes, the same Rockville) is Montgomery County Maryland's liquor license 001. It's been around over 100 years in one form or another. A bad fire nearly destroyed the place but they rebuilt and re-opened in 2021 stronger than ever. Great live music every night!

We snuck backstage after the concert was over and most of the security crew had left. We also went in the show early "to use the bathroom" (they let us in at like 4pm) and we caught the soundcheck. It was only me and my girlfriend in the entire arena watching the band, who looked at us a bit puzzled as we waved. Got a free mini show of about five songs. Afterwards, Mike remembered us. I told him I was from Rockville, MD, and also that I didn't like his Philly shirt.

Richmond, Spring 1989. We left school early at Maryland and drove down. Snuck in for the soundcheck, then snuck in again afterwards and went backstage.
I'm not sure about the expression on my face. I still have the signed ticket stub.

In Richmond, Spring 1989, probably during "Turn You Inside Out".
